Updated Firmware
The Offline Access Code (OAC) is a unique feature of Lockly™. It allows you to grant access to guests remotely without guests needing to download the app.
To use the OAC feature, make sure you download the Lockly™ app for iOS or Android first and sync your smart lock to your mobile device.
From there, you can then issue an Offline Access Code within the app.
Go to Access Management and choose the Offline Access Code Users tab and select Add Offline Access Code. Follow on-screen instructions to generate your Offline Access Code.
Understanding OAC Codes
Each lock can an unlimited number of OAC codes. Your app will also automatically generate and allow you to share directions for your guests to use.
OAC Codes are issued to the guest by having them enter their 4-12-digit OAC in Activation Mode. To activate the OAC, follow these steps:
- Double-tap
- The keypad will start to flash, and the numbers will now display in numerical order
- Enter the OAC and tap
- The numbers will now rearrange to not be in numerical order
- Re-enter the OAC and tap
- Your offline access code should now work until the duration runs out, whether it’s a 1-time use code or 1-hour duration up to 60 Days.
Please note that Offline Access Codes cannot be revoked. To disable an Offline Access Code before the duration is up, you must factory reset your Lockly™ or re-pair it to your phone.

Understanding OAC Codes
Each lock can issue up to 50 OAC Access Codes before you have to reset and reissue another set of 50 codes. Your app will also automatically generate and allow you to share directions for your guests to use.
OAC Codes are issued to the guest by asking them to enter a 6 digit number, followed by a 4 digit number, followed again by the 4 digit number, entering in between every set of numbers. See the following example.
Once a sequence like the one above is entered, it automatically activates an OAC Access Code to be used for a specific duration of time. In the example above, the Guest’s Access Code will be 234567 to unlock the door. 0987 is the Configuration Number that sets the total duration of the Access Code, whether it’s a 1-time use code or 1-hour duration up to 60 Days.
